John is the current Linux kernel maintainer for wireless LANs. As a Red Hat employee, he has spent time maintaining both wireless and wired LAN drivers for RHEL and Fedora. Prior to that, John was "the Linux guy" at a small networking software startup.

At home John amazes/annoys his wife and three kids with his various geek interests. Those include not only most things Linux, but also vintage arcade video games, ancient home computers, and things from eBay no sane person would buy.
